This is not a story for the faint of heart. Poor Jim. It’s so obvious this is user error because we all know iMacs simply don’t fail. (Except mine, November 16th, 2007.)

iMac en fuego
Poor Swede Anders Norman lost his entire home recently in a fire. But when he booted up his somewhat toasty iMac, boom! Started flawlessly. Money quote: “On Friday I bought a new iMac at the Apple Store here in Umeå, which I now rejoice.” They just work, people..they just work.

As the piece says, “Obviously it’s not something you want to see when you’ve just spent $1,700 or more on a new computer.” That would be a true statement.

Gizmodo says that is the name El Jobso wanted to give the original iMac. The MacMan. Seriously. Like a Big Mac, but lose the “Big” and add “Man.” All I can say is, must have been a bad trip at the time. I mean, look at the suit.
