Yahoo News reports that the huge earthquake that struck Chile may have changed the Earth’s rotation, and shortened the length of our days. 

Hawaii “dodged a bullet” when the Chile quake-created tsunami didn’t materialize, but Japan is bracing for a possible impact.

The coast is clear. And that is sound advice down there, you betcha.
