SJV-N really likes hates the iPad

Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols blogs today the reasons why, no matter how cool and wonderful one may think about the iPad, it’s way over-priced and has too many gotchas for consumers. He believes most of us should wait for the fifty or so iPad clones that will arrive in the coming twelve months that will be a couple hundred dollars cheaper, has no DRM content, has a power cord and easily replaceable batteries and of course runs on Linux. And remember, Steven, Apple’s lawyers will be there to sue each and every one of them out of existence. That’s why a company like Apple ( and Microsoft) has such a large cash reserve – to feed the lawyers.
