In order to entice Google to test its new fiber optic broadband around town, the mayor of Topeka proclaimed the town shall be henceforth named Google. This isn’t the first time these corn fed money grubbers opportunists have pulled this off. Back in the dawn of the Pickachu craze, the mayor proclaimed the town’s name shall be ToPickachu. Are they distilling that corn a little too much over there or what? Those crazy Kansans!
