File this one under insanely bad judgement.  An air traffic controller at JFK in New York, which is fairly busy, allowed his young son to direct air traffic. As in, “Jet Blue 171, cleared for takeoff.” Result? Suspension-city for Mr. soon-to-be-former ATC.
