Pretty obvious allusion, and we were hesitant at first to make it. Because let’s be honest. Germans and trains? Not exactly conjuring up all sorts of great imagery there. But then Jonny Ive said to hell with that, this is a break from the past, it’s a fresh look, it’s all about newness and transparency, it’s about openness and freedom, so let’s do it.
Bad artists copy. Great artists steal. Peace.
