It’s certainly a measure of his generosity that Apple’s chief gives and gives and gives, yet receives nothing in return.  All of these wonderful inventions, and what does he ask for in return? Nothing but our respect and admiration.  He manages to support his family on just $1/year.  It’s very difficult in the Bay Area to do that.

Meanwhile, his underlings are continuing to expand their wealth.  Just look at this chart from ZDNet.  Raises of $100,000 for Cook, Oppenheimer, Mansfield and Forstall.  We all know their contributions to the Apple bottom line pale in comparison to El Jobso, yet they continue to rake in the big dollars while The Esteemed One goes without.
