I’ve always had mixed feelings about China

Apparently the feeling is mutual. From a story in the Journal about the somewhat tepid iPhone launch in Beijing:

A manager at a China Unicom store in Beijing said Sunday that his store sold ten iPhones on Saturday but only one on Sunday. He said he expects sales to pick up during the week.

Things will pick up. Probably. All we have to do is convince people that they should not buy gray-market iPhones when they can get the same one from us for twice as much money. Ahem.
