Not sure why. See this story where an AT&T spokesbot gets tricked into kinda sorta saying that Apple’s the one blocking third-party apps, not AT&T. Oh, sneaky hacks! Twisting people’s words and molding the facts to suit your preconceived notions. Anyway, as I reported not long ago, this third-party issue should be moot soon.
