Eight unbelievable iPhone stories

Get ‘em right here.  (OK, one of them is the old iJustine story with the monster phone bill.  But still.) An orchestra that uses just iPhones?  The Michigan Mobile Phone Ensemble? Who knew?

At Waterloo Napoleon did surrender

I have always been proud of the fact I was an ABBA fan before ABBA became cool. Their songs are pure pop, nothing more, no deep meaning like Dylan or Lady Gaga. Fun, hooky Europop at its best. And now, there’s ABBAWORLD. Here’s the 1974 video that started it all, from the Eurovision music competition. Buy ‘em here.

Something in my e-mail this morning

… in real tiny writing, you can just make out , “will be available for Mac soon”.  Linux fans will have to suck it up, oh wait, doesn’t The Kindle itself operate on Linux 2.6.10? Couldn’t a freetard reverse engineer a desktop Kindle for KDE or GNOME?

Well, if you’re reading this on Windows and have decided to give Kindle for PC a spin (it is free),

If Mark Twain was brought up in this Long Island backwater and was Jewish, he'd have written this

may I suggest Black Cracker by Josh Alan Friedman, a steal at $9.99?

Can you stand it?

An excellent accessory has arrived for the iPad.  I can absolutely afford the accessory- now I have to raise the funds for the iPad. The maker is here.

The Oatmeal takes on The Facebook

Genius, as always.

Dilbert’s Scott Adams on the iPad

I don’t think he’s terribly impressed.

“Betting against Steve Jobs is a fool’s game. But the iPad doesn’t feel like a genius creation. I think Jobs was focused on his health when the iPad was conceived.  It looks like committee work to me.”
