Okay, I admit it. I’ve always had a woody for the ThinkPad series of laptops. These fuckers are made well, last a long time, great customer satisfaction (would be better if they didn’t run friggin’ Windows), and are cool looking. Linux runs great on these, if you know how to optimize the distribution of your choice to run on these beautiful machines (Lenovo can do this for you, for a fee). These Cadillacs are made for the upper echelon business people, though, not for the plebs. Well no more, Lenovo is making a play for SMB market with this sleek new affordable line of business laps out this week, and they are drool-worthy and interestingly enough, running on AMD processors.
